Zug canton flat rate
From summer 2026, the canton of Zug will pay parents residing in the canton around 33% of their childcare costs. This new canton flat rate applies regardless of the parents’ income. Childcare Vouchers
Childcare vouchers are issued by the local authority to parents on low incomes. The value of the vouchers, which are paid directly to the parents, is based on the parents’ income and working hours.
